"Who are you?" Youngster asks Rajinikanth during Thoothukudi visit

Actor-politician Rajinikanth on Wednesday visited the injured during the Thoothukudi shooting. He reportedly went to the Thoothukudi government hospital and checked on them.

While meeting with the injured there, a youngster reportedly did not recognise him and asked him who he was, to which the actor replied that he was Rajinikanth coming from Chennai. The reason as to why the youngster asked such a question is still unclear. Did the boy really not know who Rajinikanth was, or was he trying to embarrass him is still not known.

During his visit, Rajinikanth announced that he will be presenting Rs 2 lakh to the families of the 13 who died during the protests and Rs 10,000 to the injured. He also met with the press later and expressed his views on the shooting.
