According to reports, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami said on Monday that he would be happy if the eight MLAs from his camp, who were disqualified, would rejoin AIADMK.
When he was asked about the possibilities of them joining AIADMK, he reportedly said, “It is only the media which is saying it and I am not aware of any such development."
Eighteen AIADMK MLAs were earlier disqualified as lawmakers by the Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker P Dhanapal after they met the Governor and gave a memorandum expressing loss of confidence in Edappadi K. Palaniswami’s governance and requested him to appoint a new Chief Minister.
