DMK Rajya Sabha member Kanimozhi questioned as to why S Ve Shekher, who was recently in the storm of things for passing derogatory comments against woman journalists, wasn't arrested as yet. Lamenting the lack of police action, she took to Twitter and posted, “Even after the High Court dismissed S Ve Shekher's anticipatory bail petition for having posted derogatory posts on Facebook about women journalists, that the police department is not arresting him is surprising. Putting up a derogatory post, then deleting it, then expressing regret is becoming a habit. Everyone has the freedom of speech to criticise but not to insult. I hope the police department takes stringent action in this regard.”
