Weather update: These parts in TN likely to receive rain

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has reportedly predicted rain along with thunders in the southern districts of Tamil Nadu. Due to upper air circulation near Kanyakumari and Katchatheevu regions, one or two places in southern Tamil Nadu may receive light to heavy rains.

However, chances of rain in Chennai are less likely and the city will remain cloudy in the coming days, say reports. This news comes as a respite to Chennaites amid soaring temperatures which is expected to rise further in May month.
