Visuals of cadres of Tamizhaga Vazhvurimai Katchi engaged in vandalising a liquor shop in Nellikuppam in Coimbatore demanding the release of their leader T Velmurugan has emerged.
Velmurugan was held for vandalising a toll plaza along with his cadres in Ulundhurpettai in April demanding the formation of the Cauvery Management Board and has since been in judicial custody.
He was sometime back admitted to the Stanley Medical Hospital in Chennai, where DMK working president and opposition leader MK Stalin paid him a visit and enquired of his wellbeing.
