Arogyaraj hailing from Eerudayampattu Village near Kallakurichi, Villupuram district was married to Madhuri and both of them were living separately as Madhuri had asked for Divorce. While their divorce case was about to be heard by the court on August 26 (Monday), Arogyaraj consumed poison and ended his life on August 24. After his death, police recovered his mobile phone and found the video that was recorded by him before consuming poison.

In the Video, Arogyaraj holds the poison bottle in his hand and says "I'm going to die. I've got poison. I really hope nobody gets my situation in life. I promise that the reason for my death is my wife Madhuri".

As per the News 18 report, Madhuri demanded 5 lakh rupees as compensation despite asking for a divorce. Arogyaraj tried his best to solve the misunderstanding with his wife and convince her to live together. However, she did not respond to his request.

The 32-year-old Arogyaraj lost his father at an early age and worked hard to get three of his sisters married. Then, he married Madhuri hailing from Nettur village near Udupi. The reports also add that Arogyaraj married Madhuri without the consent of his family and over the period of time, the members of Madhuri's family ill-treated him.

A totally depressed Arogyaraj consumed poison at his lone residence on Saturday accusing his wife and her lawyer for his death. The police officers have registered a case and further investigations are underway.
