Veteran Actor Vijayakanth and Wife Premalatha's Report on COVID 19; Latest Health Update By MIOT Hospital!

Days after actor turned politician Vijayakanth and his wife Premalatha tested positive for COVID-19, renowned MIOT Hospital in Chennai released a recent health report on the same. 

Last week, DMDK’s Twitter account had released a statement saying that Vijayakanth has recovered from COVID-19 and will be discharged soon. Apparently, he showed mild coronavirus symptoms and was treated for the same. 

MIOT hospital's official update read as "Mr. A Vijayakant (Founder & General Secretary, DMDK) and Mrs. Premalatha Vijayakant (Treasurer, DMDK) tested positive for COVID-19. They were evaluated at MIOT hospitals, Chennai and stayed on for observations. They have responded well to treatment and are getting discharged today."

Vijayakanth, who retired from acting a few years back, has been actively involved in politics. Check out the press release from MIOT hospital below:
