Actress Vijayalakshmi who has acted in Vijay’s ‘friends’ and in the movie ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’ has been admitted to a private hospital after the actress allegedly tried to die by suicide. The actress who has been under the limelight for speaking against politician Seeman has been admitted to a private hospital and is recovering according to sources close to her.

She had uploaded a video on her social media handle before attempting to kill herself. She mentioned that she has been troubled by the actor- turned- politician Seeman and his party.   

She posted a video on social media and said, ‘This is my last video and I have been in very stressed in the last four months because of Seeman and his partymen. I tried my best to survive all these days because of my mother and sister, but I have been humiliated and shamed in the media by Harinadar recently. I have already had a couple of my BP tablets, so in sometime I will suffer from low blood pressure and in a few hours I will be dead.

In a message to her fans, she said ‘Just because my birthplace is Karnataka, Seeman has tortured me a lot. As a woman, I have tried my best to put up with his but I am not able to handle the pressure anymore. I am from the Pillai community, the community that LTTE Leader Prabhakaran is a part of. Prabhakaran is the only reason behind Seeman’s success but that hasn’t stopped him from harassing me.’

She accused Seeman of slut shaming her and requested her fans to not let Seeman get away from this case. She requested them to ensure that he never gets an anticipatory bail. 

‘My death should be a big eye opener to everyone. I don’t want to be a slave to anybody,’ the actress mentioned in the video. As per media reports, the actress is stable at present.
