DMK releases list of candidates; Guess where Udhayanidhi Stalin is contesting from?

DMK President MK Stalin today released the list of candidates contesting the upcoming 2021 Assembly elections. The DMK is contesting in 173 constituencies. Sixty-one constituencies have been allotted to allies.

In Edappadi, DMK candidate Sampath Kumar is contesting against Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswamy, DMK’s Senthil Balaji is contesting against ADMK’s Vijayabaskar in Karur and Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam is contesting in the Bodi constituency.

DMK youth wing secretary Udhayanidhi Stalin is contesting from the Chepauk-Tiruvallikeni constituency. DMK leader MK Stalin is contesting once again from Kolathur.

It was to be recalled that Khushbu Sundar was keen to contest from the Chepauk constituency on a BJP ticket but the same was allocated to PMK. It has been construed by many that with Khushbu not in the fray, it is going to be a cakewalk for Udhayanidhi.
