Two different women's throats slit in TN on same day

A man slit the throat of Lavanya, a student of Annamalai University as she refused to talk to him on Monday. The accused reportedly slit her throat with a blade. The girl has been admitted to the hospital with serious injuries. According to reports, the girl's parents are on their way to the university.

A similar incident took place on the same day in Katpadi where a man slit his lover's throat as she allegedly refused to get married to him. Allegedly, the two were in love for four years, but due to her parents' objections, the victim refused to get married. Out of anger, the accused slit her throat. Reportedly, the accused was arrested and the girl was admitted to the hospital.
