Trichy Lalitha Jewellery robbery case - Murugan Surrenders in Bengaluru Court
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsOn October 2, Trichy Lalitha Jewellery was robbed by robbers who wore animal mask. While one was arrested, another man named Suresh surrendered. His relative and brain of the plan, Thiruvarur Murugan, surrendered in Bengaluru Court on Friday.
Jewellery worth Rs.12 crores were looted early in the morning and police had created 7 special units to investigate on the matter.
Manikandan and Suresh's mother were arrested and police seized 4.5KG gold jewellery from them, which he claimed as his share.
Reportedly, it was said that Murugan had taken a large share of the stolen gold. On Friday, he surrendered in Bengaluru Court. More information may be available after investigation.
