Train ticket booking for Diwali begins

According to reports, the booking of reserved train tickets for Diwali festival has begun on Thursday. People can book the tickets for November 2, while Diwali falls on November 6.

The southern railway had arranged over 250 counters to book reserved tickets in Tamil Nadu. The booking, which began at 8 am, ended rather quickly in just below five minutes.

The booking began on Thursday while there are almost four months for Diwali in November. The booking ended for trains bound towards the southern and western districts, say reports.
