Parts of Chennai received a good share of rain on Tuesday evening, relieving the people from the usual hot days. Reportedly, the temperatures were considerably brought down. Following the rains, it was announced by the Tamil Nadu Weatherman that rains can be expected in the city for the next three-four days especially in the weekend.
He reportedly announced that Chennai, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram can expect a good shower, while other places can expect light rains.
According to reports, Nungambakkam received 3.6 mm rain on Tuesday and Meenambakkam received 3.2 mm. While the maximum temperature was recorded at 38.2-degree Celsius, the minimum temperature came down to 28.3-degree Celsius.
