TN: Murder convict serving life sentence dies of suspected heart attack

A 47-year old murder convict, Chinnakalai of Namakkal district serving a life-term in the central jail, allegedly died of suspected heart attack on Wednesday morning.

After complaining of chest pain around midnight, Chinnakalai died while being rushed to a hospital by the prison officials.
 

A case had been registered in connection with the death of Chinnakalai, who was sentenced to life in 2007 for a murder in the previous year and further investigations are on.
