TN Man Creates Wedding Invite With QR Code for Weddings During Pandemic – Here is How it Works!
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsAs the coronavirus infection continues to spread in India, various events including weddings and engagements, among the other ceremonies are restricted for 50 people only. Keeping this in mind, a Tamil Nadu man comes up with a creative QR Code instilled wedding invitation.
This new idea for creating invites was introduced by Vadamalai Shanker, from Thirupatthur. Since weddings and other sacred ceremonies continue to take place with very few family members present, various others wish to watch the ceremony. This drove him towards creating a QR code instilled invitation.
He prints these invites for a very nominal price, he says. His invite allows people to scan the QR Code with their mobile phones, after which a video on YouTube will play, where the hosts are inviting people for their respective celebrations.
Also, half an hour from the end of the ceremony, people can scan the second QR Code to watch the complete video of the ceremony. Further a WhatsApp number and time will be mentioned in each invite, which facilitates people to call and wish in those respective time frames. These invites also provide numbers which have Google Pay or Phone Pay facilities, to which people can transfer money as a gift.
Through this, people can ensure that social distancing is maintained.
