TN: Hailstones rain in this region

The Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai has reportedly said that there are chances of rain in certain places across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry due to the low air pressure area formed near Kanyakumari.

Chennai will remain cloudy, say reports. Meanwhile, some areas in Coimbatore district witnessed hailstones in rain alongside thunders for about 15 minutes on Saturday. Videos of youngsters collecting hailstones during the rain have been going viral on social media.
