COVID-19 in TN: District Wise Breakup, Total Positive Cases, Deaths and Recoveries as on Sept 24

The following is the COVID-19 statistics that has been shared by the Health Department of Tamil Nadu:
- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) - 46,405.
- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 3,40,015 / 2,23,646 / 30.
- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities – 178 (66 Govt + 112 Private).
- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date – 68,15,644.
- Total number of samples tested today – 90,607.
- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date – 66,08,675.
- Total number of persons tested today – 88,784.
- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 5,08,210.
- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 5,470.
- Total number of deaths today / till date - 66 (23 Private & 43 Govt) / total 9,076.
