COVID-19 in TN: District Wise Breakup, Total Positive Cases, Deaths and Recoveries as on Sept 18

The following is the COVID-19 statistics that has been shared by the Health department of Tamil Nadu:
- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) - 46,506.
- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 3,19,939 / 2,10,939 / 30.
- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –175 (66 Govt + 109 Private).
- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date – 63,03,466.
- Total number of samples tested today – 85,543.
- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date – 61,07,328.
- Total number of persons tested today – 83,701.
- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 4,75,717.
- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 5,525.
- Total number of deaths today / till date - 67 (34 Private & 33 Govt) / total 8,685.

Vellore - 13,015 (115 today)
Ramanathapuram - 5,168 (31 today)
