COVID-19 in TN: District Wise Breakup, Total Positive Cases, Deaths and Recoveries as on Sept 15

The following is the COVID-19 statistics that has been shared by the Health department of Tamil Nadu:
- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) - 46,806.
- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 3,09,838 / 2,04,341 / 29.
- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –170 (65 Govt + 105 Private).
- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date – 60,48,832.
- Total number of samples tested today – 80,623.
- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date – 58,58,300.
- Total number of persons tested today – 78,711.
- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 4,58,900.
- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 5,735.
- Total number of deaths today / till date - 68 (28 Private & 40 Govt) / total 8,502.
