COVID-19 in TN: District Wise Breakup, Total Positive Cases, Deaths and Recoveries as on Sept 11

The following is the COVID-19 statistics that has been shared by the Health department of Tamil Nadu:
- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) - 47,918.
- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 2,96,478 / 1,95,064 / 29.
- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –165 (65 Govt + 100 Private).
- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date – 57,15,216.
- Total number of samples tested today – 84,893.
- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date – 55,32,526.
- Total number of persons tested today – 82,891.
- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 4,35,422.
- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 6,006.
- Total number of deaths today / till date - 77 (36 Private & 41 Govt) / total 8,231.

Coimbatore - 20,795 (394 today)
Erode - 4,111 (70 today)
Chengalpattu - 29,502 ( 297 today)

Salem - 13,173 (298 today)
Vellore - 12,107 (180 today)
Ramanathapuram - 4,999 (10 today)
Kancheepuram - 18,964 (132 today)
