COVID-19 in TN: District Wise Breakup, Total Positive Cases, Deaths and Recoveries as on Oct 6

The following is the COVID-19 statistics that has been shared by the Health Department of Tamil Nadu:
- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) - 45,279.
- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 3,80,629 / 2,49,748 / 31.
- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –189 (66 Govt + 123 Private).
- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date – 78,63,864.
- Total number of samples tested today – 81,128.
- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date – 76,34,561.
- Total number of persons tested today – 79,279.
- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 5,75,212.
- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 5,548.
- Total number of deaths today / till date - 71 (30 Private & 41 Govt) / 9,917.
