COVID-19 in TN: District Wise Breakup, Total Positive Cases, Deaths and Recoveries as on Oct 2

The following is the COVID-19 statistics that has been shared by the Health Department of Tamil Nadu:
- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) - 46,294.
- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 3,67,546 / 2,41,308 / 31.
- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –188 (66 Govt + 122 Private).
- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date – 75,26,688.
- Total number of samples tested today – 84,991.
- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date – 73,04,809.
- Total number of persons tested today – 83,123.
- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 5,52,938.
- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 5,603.
- Total number of deaths today / till date - 67 (24 Private &43 Govt) / total 9,653.
