TN Corona Update: New Cases, Recoveries And Death- May 30 

Tamil Nadu on Saturday - May 30, reported 938 new cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of cases to the state 21,184. 

Of the 938 new cases, 82 people returned from other states (Andhra Pradesh – 1, Assam – 1, Delhi – 1, Gujarat – 6, Jharkhand – 2, Karnataka – 2, Madhya Pradesh – 1, Maharashtra – 46, Uttar Pradesh – 2, West Bengal - 12 and others)

Six persons succumbed to the state of the death toll taking the date on the virus 160.

Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) - 9,021

Total number of Male / Female / Transgender tested positive today - 599/ 338 / 1

Total number of Male / Female / Transgender tested positive till date - 13,336 /7,842 / 6

Total number of operating COVID-19 testing facilities - 72 (43 Govt+29 Private)

Total number of samples tested till date - 4,79,155

Total number of samples tested today - 12,605

Total number of persons tested till date - 4,57,233

Total number of persons tested today - 12,039

Isolation ward admission in total number of suspected individuals - 6,513

Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date - 12,000

Total number of patients discharged following treatment today - 687
