Snowlin, one of the four main protesters shot dead by police at Thoothukudi, was cremated on Sunday. She was the coordinator of the protest held in Thoothukudi against the Sterlite factory.
Snowlin, who completed plus two this year, joined the six km long rally to protest along with her mother, aunt, sister-in-law and two nieces.
On the 100th day of protest against the Sterlite factory in Thoothukudi, as many as 13 people were shot dead by the police. The police firing received massive criticism from opposition parties and activists group.
