According to reports, a 23-year-old Australian woman had her bag stolen by a thief in Marina Beach, Chennai. Elisa had come to India on a tour and was currently in Chennai. Reportedly, she had come to the acclaimed Marina Beach on Wednesday.
Elisa was sitting on the beach along with her friends when an unidentified man came along and struck a conversation with her. While talking with her, the man suddenly snatched her bag and ran for it. Sadly, despite her cries, nobody made an attempt to catch the thief.
Elisa allegedly had her visa, passport, an expensive camera, two phones and Rs 15,000 cash in the bag. She filed a complaint at the Marina Police Station. The police are currently on the lookout for the thief.
