Corona Cases In TN Rising: Check Here For New Cases, Death & Recoveries As On June 9

Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, June 9, reported 1,685 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 34,914.  

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of June 9:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -  16,279* 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 21,666 / 13,231 / 17 

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –  77 (44 Govt + 33 Private) 

- Total number of samples tested till date –     6,21,171   

- Total number of samples tested today –  13,219 

- Total number of persons tested till date –   34,914 

- Total number of persons tested today –  1,685 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 18,325 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –  798 

- Total number of deaths today/ till date -   21 (6 in Private and 15 in Govt) / 307
