Corona Cases In TN: Check Details For New Cases, Death & Recoveries As On June 5 

Tamil Nadu on Friday, June 5, reported 1,438 new cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of cases in the state to 28,694. 

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of June 5:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -  12,697* 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 17,815 / 10,862 / 17 

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –   74 (44 Govt+30 Private) 

- Total number of samples tested till date –  5,60,673   

- Total number of samples tested today –  15,692 

- Total number of persons tested till date –  14,968   

- Total number of persons tested today –   1,438 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 15,762 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 861 

- Total number of deaths today/ till date -   12 / 232
