COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu Today: Check Positive Cases, Deaths And Recoveries As On Sept 7  

Tamil Nadu on Monday, September 7, reported 5,776 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 4,69,256.   

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of September 7: 

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -  51,215.   

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –   2,83,073 / 1,86,154 / 29.  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –161 (64 Govt + 97 Private).  

- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date  –   53,79,011.  

- Total number of samples tested today – 80,503.     

- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date –     52,04,757.  

- Total number of persons tested today –   78,526.  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date–  4,10,116.  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –   5,930.   

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 89 (36 Private & 53 Govt) / total 7,925.
