COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu Today: Check Positive Cases, Deaths And Recoveries As On Sept 3   

Tamil Nadu on Thursday, September 3, reported 5,892 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 4,45,851.  

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of September 3: 

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -  52,070.  

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –   2,69,135 / 1,76,687 / 29.

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –154 (64 Govt + 90 Private).  

- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date  –   50,47,042.  

- Total number of samples tested today – 82,901.     

- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date –     48,80,769.  

- Total number of persons tested today –   80,864.  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 3,86,173.  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –  6,110.   

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 92 (34 Private & 58 Govt) / total 7,608.
