'More Than 2,000 Positive Cases Reported in TN, Today' - Death, Recoveries And Other COVID-19 Details As On June 20

Tamil Nadu on Saturday, June 20, reported 2,396 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 56,845.  

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of June 20:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -  24,822* 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  35,019 / 21,806 / 20 

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –85 (45 Govt + 40 Private) 

- Total number of samples tested till date –     8,61,211    

- Total number of samples tested today –    33,231   

- Total number of persons tested till date –    56,845 

- Total number of persons tested today –  2,396 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date–  31,316 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –  1,045  

- Total number of deaths today / till date -  38 (14 Private and 24 Govt) / total 704
