'Over 2,000 Positive Cases Reported In TN' - Death, Recoveries And Other COVID-19 Details as on June 19

Tamil Nadu on Friday, June 19, reported 2,115 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 54,449.  

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of June 19:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   23,509* 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  33,520 / 20,909 / 20 

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –83 (45 Govt + 38 Private) 

- Total number of samples tested till date –    8,27,980   

- Total number of samples tested today –    27,537   

- Total number of persons tested till date –   54,449   

- Total number of persons tested today –  2,115 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date–  30,271 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –   1,630 

- Total number of deaths today / till date -  41 (15 Private and 26 Govt) / total 666.
