COVID-19 in TN Today: Positive Cases, Deaths And Recoveries As On July 7

Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, July 7, reported 3,616 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 1,18,594. 

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of July 7:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -    45,839* 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 72,550 / 46,022 / 22  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –96 (50 Govt + 46 Private)  

- Total number of samples tested till date –  14,13,435 

- Total number of samples tested today –  36,938    

- Total number of persons tested till date – 13,52,360 

- Total number of persons tested today –  35,423    

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 71,116 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –  4,545 

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 65 (20 Private and 45 Govt) / total 1,636
