COVID-19 in TN Today: Positive Cases, Deaths And Recoveries As On July 6

Tamil Nadu on Monday, July 6, reported 3,827 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 1,14,978. 

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of July 6:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -    46,833* 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 70,370 / 44,586 / 22  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –95 (49 Govt + 46 Private)  

- Total number of samples tested till date –  13,76,497   

- Total number of samples tested today –   34,782    

- Total number of persons tested till date –  13,16,937 

- Total number of persons tested today – 33,518   

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date–  66,571  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –  3,793  

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 61 (15 Private and 46 Govt) / total 1,571.
