COVID-19 in TN Today: Positive Cases, Deaths And Recoveries As On July 4

Tamil Nadu on Saturday, July 4, reported 4,280 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 1,07,001. 

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of July 4:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   44,956*   

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  65,604 / 41,375 / 22  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –94 (49 Govt + 45 Private)  

- Total number of samples tested till date –     13,06,884 

- Total number of samples tested today –    36,164  

- Total number of persons tested till date –    12,49,317

- Total number of persons tested today – 35,426 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 60,592  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –  2,214 

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 65 (18 Private and 47 Govt) / total 1,450
