TN Records Another Rise in Death Toll Today: Check Positive Cases & Recoveries As On July 31

Tamil Nadu on Friday, July 31, reported 5,881 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 2,45,859.  

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of July 31:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   57,968 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  1,49,107 / 96,725 / 27  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –120 (59 Govt + 61 Private)  

- Total number of samples tested till date –   26,58,138 

- Total number of samples tested today –  60,276    

- Total number of persons tested till date –  25,60,269 

- Total number of persons tested today –  58,350 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 1,83,956 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 5,778 

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 97 (29 Private & 68 Govt) / total 3,935
