COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu Today: Positive Cases, Deaths And Recoveries As On July 29

Tamil Nadu on Wednesday, July 29, reported 6,426 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 2,34,114.

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  1,42,055 / 92,032 / 27  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –119 (58 Govt + 61 Private)  

- Total number of samples tested till date –  25,36,660 

- Total number of samples tested today –  60,794    

- Total number of persons tested till date – 24,42,482

- Total number of persons tested today –  58,818 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 1,72,883 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 5,927 

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 82 (28 Private & 54 Govt) / total 3,741
