COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu Today: Positive Cases, Deaths And Recoveries As On July 28

Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, July 28, reported 6,972 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 2,27,688.

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  1,38,163 / 89,502 / 23  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –119 (58 Govt + 61 Private)  

- Total number of samples tested till date –   24,75,866 

- Total number of samples tested today –  61,153    

- Total number of persons tested till date – 23,83,664 

- Total number of persons tested today –  59,584 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 1,66,956 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 4,707  

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 88 (23 Private & 65 Govt) / total 3,659
