COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu Today: Positive Cases, Deaths And Recoveries As On July 16

Tamil Nadu on Thursday, July 16, reported 4,549 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 1,56,369.

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –107 (54 Govt + 53 Private) 

- Total number of samples tested till date –    17,82,635   

- Total number of samples tested today –  45,888    

- Total number of persons tested till date – 17,09,459 

- Total number of persons tested today – 44,186 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 1,07,416 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 5,106 

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 69 (25 Private and 44 Govt) / total 2,236
