COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu Today: Check Positive Cases, Deaths And Recoveries As On August 30   

Tamil Nadu on Sunday, August 30, reported 6,495 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 4,22,085.  

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of August 30:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -  52,721.  

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  2,54,837 / 1,67,219 / 29.   

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –149 (63 Govt + 86 Private) 

- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date  –   47,38,047.  

- Total number of samples tested today –   83,250.    

 - Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date –   45,79,770.  

- Total number of persons tested today –   80,100.    

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date–  3,62,133.  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 6,406.  

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 94 (37 Private & 57 Govt) / total 7,231.
