COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu Today: Check Positive Cases, Deaths And Recoveries As On August 14   

Tamil Nadu on Friday, August 14, reported 5,890 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 3,26,245.      

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of August 14:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   53,716.  

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  1,96,744 / 1,29,472 / 29.   

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –134 (61 Govt + 73 Private) 

 - Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date  –  35,69,453.  

- Total number of samples tested today –  70,153.       

- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date –  34,43,897.  

- Total number of persons tested today –  68,301.

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 2,67,015.  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 5,556.  

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 117 (34 Private & 83 Govt) / total 5,514
