COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu Today: Check Positive Cases, Deaths And Recoveries As On August 13   

Tamil Nadu on Thursday, August 13, reported 5,835 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to  3,20,355.    

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of August 13:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   53,499.  

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –   1,93,226 / 1,27,100 / 29.  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –134 (61 Govt + 73 Private).

 - Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date  –  34,99,300.  

- Total number of samples tested today – 67,275.      

- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date –  33,75,596.  

- Total number of persons tested today –  65,560.  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 2,61,459.  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 5,146.  

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 119 (38 Private & 81 Govt) / total 5,397.
