COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu Today: Check Positive Cases, Deaths And Recoveries As On August 10   

Tamil Nadu on Monday, August 10, reported 5,914 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 3,02,815.  

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of August 10:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) - 53,099.    

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  1,82,779 / 1,20,007 / 29.   

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –130 (61 Govt + 69 Private).

- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date  – 32,92,958.      

- Total number of samples tested today –  67,153.   

- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date – 31,74,849. 

- Total number of persons tested today –  65,141.

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 2,44,675.

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 6,037.

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 114 (34 Private and 80 Govt) / total 5,041.
