Tamil Nadu BJP unit president Tamilisai Soundararajan on Thursday watched Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Kaala’ and said that the film ended with full of colours. “The film began in black and ended in colours. It was colourful”, the BJP leader said excitedly. The actor wears black shirt for most parts of the film, which allegedly symbolises hard labour.
When questioned about the connection between the film and the actor’s political aspirations, Tamilisai said that cinema and politics are different, adding, “Since the beginning, Rajinikanth’s films had political contents in them.”
Tamilisai also said that she watched the film as she usually prefers to watch films with social messages. She said, “Rather than watching films with love, dance and songs, I prefer watching films that have social messages.”
