A youth from Tamil Nadu died in Satyavedu police station after being arrested on charges of chain snatching. Police said that the youth, Raja, suffered from epilepsy. His body has been kept at the Satyavedu government hospital for post-mortem.
Police arrested Raja, along with nine others, on charges of chain snatching In Thenneri near the area. They were being questioned at the Satyavedu police station. The death of a Tamil Nadu youth in Andhra Pradesh police station has shocked many.
Raja hails from Mondiyamman Nagar near Redhills in Thiruvallur district.
