Of the 688 fresh cases, 37 are passengers returned from other countries (including 13 who initially tested negative and turned positive on exit test today). Also, 50 passengers returned from other States tested positive today.
Three persons succumbed to the virus on the date taking the death toll of the state to 84.

Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities – 63 (40 government and 23 private)
Total number of samples tested till date – 3,48,174
Total number of samples tested today – 10,333
Total number of persons tested till date – 3,32,352
Total number of persons tested today – 9844
Total number of suspected individuals in isolation ward admission – 4775
Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 4895
Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 489
