The Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai has said that some regions in Tamil Nadu will likely receive rains coupled with thunder due to low pressure in the air. The weather agency said that parts of the state and its neighbouring Puducherry will receive rains.
In Chennai, the skies will be cloudy and parts of the city may witness rain in the evening and night.
While the maximum temperature may go up to 35°C, the minimum could stay at 27°C, the meteorological centre said. Further, it added that no significant rainfall was registered in any part of the state.
