TN COVID-19 Update: Total Positive cases, Deaths, Recoveries and Other Details as On June 28!

Tamil Nadu on Sunday, June 28, reported 3,761 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 82,275

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of June 28:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -  35,656  

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 50,745/31,509/21

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –90 (47 Govt + 43 Private)

- Total number of samples tested till date –   11,10,402

- Total number of samples tested today –   31,505

- Total number of persons tested till date –   10,56,564

- Total number of persons tested today –   32,948

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 45,537

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –  1,443

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 54 (10 Private and 44 Govt) / total 1,079
