SpiceJet to probe into alleged strip-search in Chennai airport

After the video of an angry lot of SpiceJet air hostesses accusing the airline of strip-searching them at Chennai airport went viral, SpiceJet reportedly said it has ordered an investigation into the matter.

The airlines said that its security team undertook searches at some of its stations on March 28 and 29 night, the airline said one of the objectives of this search was to ensure that there’s no illegal activity that an employee may be lured into.
