Breaking announcement by Southern Railway

In the busy telecommunication age, in a bid to encourage those who still buy tickets off the counter, Southern Railway has announced that a discount of 5 percent would be applicable on tickets worth Rs 100 and more if bought directly from the ticket counters.

However, this feature is to be tried on a trial basis for three months to see if it can be implemented on a long-term scale.
