Southern districts to receive rain: Met Dept

The Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai has reportedly said that the southern parts of Tamil Nadu will receive thundershowers due to the formation of the low-pressure area down the Kanyakumari sea. The skies will be cloudy in Chennai, the Centre reportedly said. It was also forecasted that some parts of northern Tamil Nadu and Puducherry may also receive rains.
